Concrete works for piled foundations

Forming the Structural Elements Above the Piles

Concrete works in piled foundation systems refer to all in-situ concrete activities carried out after pile installation, including pile caps, ground beams, and reinforced concrete slabs. These elements work together with the piles to create a complete foundation system that safely transfers structural loads into the ground.

While piles provide the deep load-bearing capacity, concrete works form the visible and structural link between the piles and the building above. This includes shaping, connecting, and finalising the foundation layout on site.

At a high level, concrete works transform individual piles into a unified structural foundation system capable of supporting the superstructure.
