Ground Beam & Slab Design

Alongside pile design and installation, we provide in-house design of reinforced concrete ground beams and structural slabs to complete the foundation system.

Ground beams are engineered to distribute loads efficiently between piles, ensuring accurate load transfer and structural stability. Slabs are designed to suit the building layout and loading requirements, whether suspended between piles or integrated within a beam and slab arrangement.

By designing piles, ground beams and slabs together, we ensure full coordination between foundation elements. This reduces on-site complications, improves buildability and ensures compliance with Building Regulations and Eurocode standards for projects across London and the SouthEast.

Pile & Verification

Verification is a critical stage of any piling project, particularly for larger residential and commercial developments across London and the South East.

We provide load testing and integrity testing where required to validate capacity and settlement performance. For larger schemes, preliminary test piles can be installed to confirm ground parameters before full construction proceeds.

Where testing identifies adjustments, our in-house team can respond quickly with revised calculations and updated layouts, ensuring programmes remain on track.

Technical Troubleshooting & Site Advice

Ground conditions do not always behave exactly as predicted. When unexpected obstructions, variable strata or ground water issues arise, our experience as piling contractors allows us to respond decisively.

Because our engineers work along side our site teams, we can assess installation data in real time and implement practical adjustments - whether that involves refining pile depths, modifying layouts or reviewing load assumptions.

We also provide early stage technical advice, reviewing bore hole logs and structural drawings prior to construction. Early contractor involvement often reduces cost, minimises risk and prevents unnecessary redesign later in the programme.
