About the Project
This project formed part of a homeowner extension, where a lightweight and low disruption piling solution was required.
Screw piles were selected due to their suitability for restricted access sites and their ability to be installed quickly with minimal vibration. This made them ideal for working close to existing structures and neighbouring properties.
Following installation, a reinforced concrete slab was constructed to provide a solid and level base for the extension.
The works were carried out efficiently, with minimal impact on the surrounding area.

The project involved extending an existing property, requiring a foundation solution that could be installed efficiently within a confined residential setting. Our scope included the installation of 9 no. 76mm screw piles, followed by the construction of a 31.5 square metre reinforced concrete slab.
The works were completed with careful consideration to access, surrounding structures and maintaining a clean working area throughout.
