About the Project
This project formed part of a self build scheme, where a piled foundation system was required to support the proposed structure.
Due to the scale of the build and the ground conditions on site, Steel Cased Driven piling was selected as a practical and reliable solution. The smaller number of piles allowed for a straightforward installation process while still achieving the required structural support.
Following the piling works, a reinforced concrete raft slab was constructed across the footprint of the building, tying the piles together and providing a solid base for the build.
The works were carried out with attention to detail and coordination, ensuring the site remained organised and progress remained steady throughout.

The project involved the construction of a new residential dwelling, requiring a piled foundation solution to suit the ground conditions. Our scope included the installation of 10 Steel Cased Driven piles, followed by the construction of a 48 square metre reinforced concrete raft slab at 250mm thickness.
The works were carried out within a residential setting, with careful planning to ensure safe and efficient installation throughout.
